Once in a Blue Moon we come across a Business Professional that we have a Great Experience with start to finish and would honestly be happy to refer to others. We ask ourselves, why can't it be the other way around. Maybe once in a while we have a bad experience and most all times we have a good experience, Why do the bad experiences happen over and oner again? And it happens to everyone we know! We file complaints with the California State License Board (CSLB) for Contractor Professionals, Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) for Senior Care Professionals and the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA for White Collar Professionals, without much resolve. You hire a Business Professional, give them a deposit or pay them in full, just to end up hiring another Business Professional to hopefully complete the task that the first Business Professional didn't complete properly or as agreed. Sound familiar?

Perhaps one of the problems is we want to believe in the Business Professional we are speaking with at the time and we don't do our

Due Diligence. It seems once we agree to move forward and hire the Business Professional it all goes sideways. We locate the Business Professional on different websites; you know the ones. The ones that have hundreds of Business Professionals in the same category, the ones that make claims that all the Business Professionals listed on their website are Trustworthy and we are to believe all the 5 Star Ratings they all have. Believe it or not some RATINGS are fabricated,

To help rectify this injustice you will find as part of the Business Professionals' advertisement on this website a copy of their License(s) and Insurance(s) documents posted with their advertisement on the Laguna Woods Villager website. We also encourage you to contact previous customers and not depend on 'Ratings'. Contact licensing departments to verify licensing status and complaints filed and that Insurance is still enforce and active before hiring. A little time invested in doing your Due Diligence can save a lot of upset.

Here at Laguna Woods Villager, we are not going to claim that we have the cure to finding 100% trustworthy Business Professionals. We have verified that the Business Professionals who are required to be Licensed and Insured are indeed Licensed and Insured as per the date they were approved to advertise on our website. We then monitor their continued License and Insurance status based on their expiration date(s). We also have all Business Professionals on our website subscribe to our Mission Statement:

We deem that all Business Professionals that advertise on our website will maintain at all times our Mission Statement and Code of Ethics or they will risk being removed from our website. Another Business Policy we have implemented is we only allow three (3) Business Professionals per category, this way we can be strict and selective with the Business Professionals we allow to advertise on our website.

NOTE: The only exception to the three (3) Business Professionals per category is Private Caregivers, Private Caregiver category will be limited to fifteen (15) Private Caregivers, because of the high demand for Private Caregivers in the community of Laguna Woods Village.
